VALUES

  • EXCELLENCE

I am consciously reclaiming ‘excellence’ as a marker of inclusion. I assert that we each have our unique version of excellence. My role is to get alongside my clients so as to describe what I experience when their moments of excellence arise. I am a master of describing the nature of my clients’ unique version of excellence.

  • FUN

I embrace fun, humour and play. I enjoy my work and my clients enjoy working with me. We laugh. We smile

  • CONSISTENCY

Consistency generates results. I have experienced the power of deliberate repetition to achieve results. Just as I have completed long runs by putting one foot in front of the other, so too in the rest of life.

  • MULTIPLIER EFFECT

My work with clients spills over into more areas of their lives and organisations. A light on a path lights up the whole path.

  • AUTHENTICITY

I am committed to means and ends being in alignment. I assert that the process by which we seek to achieve an outcome is as important as the outcome and will be reflected in the quality of the outcome.  I can measure this by the thud of resonance I feel in my chest when I am working in alignment.

  • NONVIOLENCE

I am committed to a life of nonviolence, which is “not simply a matter of abstinence from physical or verbal violence, it is an attitude of mind, an emotional orientation towards loving care and concern” (Adam Curle. Another way: Positive response to contemporary violence, 1995:17)
